Nobilus Ent takes care to conduct manufacturing process in a way that is as least harmful to the natural
environment as is possible. Nobilus Ent performs activities to reduce the impact of production on the
environment.
As a part of the project
'Launching innovative technology for the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients and expanding R&D
infrastructure'
co-financed by the European Union under Activity 4.4 New Investments with high potential of priority axis,
4. Investments in innovative ventures of the Innovative Economy Operational Program 2007-2013, conducted due
to the expansion of Nobilus Ent Kutno Division, the company has performed actions to minimize the negative
impact of the investment on the environment.
The following activities were carried out as a part of this project:

Energy consumption was reduced by using a heat pump for heating rooms in the plant,

Wastewater was homogenized to average its COD, BOD and pH parameters,

Emission of VOC (volatile organic compounds) was reduced by performing drying and concentration
processes in closed systems,

Control of sewage was introduced to reduce their amount.
After implementing of the above-mentioned activities, Nobilus Ent has obtain a positive decision from the
Marshal's Office in Łódź regarding the environmental conditions of the planned project. The planned method
of installation operating met the requirements of the Best Available Technology (BAT).
Additionally, as part of the pro-ecological activities performed by Nobilus Ent, a chestnut tree plantation
with an area of approximately 0.7 ha was established in the Kutno Division. To control the population of the
horse-chestnut leaf miner, ecological pheromone traps were placed on the plantation.
